When someone does something wrong, like scams or griefs you, a mod will not and cannot just take your word for it. You need to have SOLID PROOF that they did it in order for the person to receive a punishment. What is proper evidence? Screenshots of: -Spamming -Someone bullying -Filter Bypass -Malicious Links -And all the other chat offenses Video of: -The entire trade (Their game name must show above their head) -Someone griefing -Someone abusing a bug -Someone hacking In conclusion, use common sense and if something is not listed here, ask yourself "If this was real life, would a judge accept it as solid evidence?" What is improper, or useless proof? -Witnesses that have no proper proof -Screenshots of your chest and only the chest, no background -Very old screenshots -Your reputation does not matter. No proof means no required punishments -Demanding a staff member believe you -Cropped screenshots Overall, the staff team sees way too little actual solid evidence and usually useless things. Just because you trust someone, doesn't mean they won't do bad things. Screenshot all the chat offenses you find to back up your point on why the players should be punished. If you end up getting scammed, refunds simply do not happen so if you get scammed and you don't have solid proof the player will get away with scamming you. (If doing a trade make sure to always record as screenshots will not be accepted.) Also always make sure that the screenshots you take are not cropped in any way as they do not count towards getting a player punished for a certain offense.
I tried to intend into that a player would get away with scamming without the proof. I will rephrase that though. Thanks.
