Why is all this content hidden... This can be taken as rude to the player. ....but let's jump into this. Madison, you said clearly in your guard application that you were familiar with the rules on Prison, yet you /tp'd to sebiathan in the free world where he chose to kill you(what he does...everyday/all the time lol). After he killed you, you used /invsee to take his 2 guard swords & 2 guard bows also a guard sword from TheSteeFlame. It's my opinion that you were upset from having been killed, and took the items in the mist of your confusion not realizing that you were indeed in the free world and he and TheSteeFlame were allowed any item of their choosing there. This is classified as abuse of power. Now, being that you are indeed very new to staff here on MV I understand not making the correct choices... to a point. This goes beyond that point. I will leave you time to reply before we go any further.
I am familiar with the rules, and I've explained that I was more concentrated on the conversation more than anything. I am new, but that's no excuse. I made a dumb choice, and I regret it.. I understand what I've done wrong, and I will be more careful from now on.
I will be leaving this decision up to @CypriotMerks. No more posts should be needed here unless you disagree with my decision on the matter.
I feel like I have to add my two-cents. Madison is a new guard, all of a sudden you have plenty more perms than what you had before, and more strict rules to follow. Madison is still in her training period. Well that's what I call it, and as they say humans make mistakes, all that matters is if you can take what you did and learn from it. I can see how she slipped up, currently she's taught how to moderate Prison, that's it, not the free world, while it's obvious that free is free, I can see how she made the mistake. I've been watching her moderate for a bit on my alt that no one knows the name of, and she is actually doing well. You see you can know the player rules like the back of your hand, but players aren't expected to know how the Moderator rules work, we try to enforce them to look back at what we say, but sometimes things get skipped/missed. I can surely say I have made my fair share of mistakes; which we will not go into detail with. *cough* crashing .org *cough -- *cough* leaking Jungle saplings into the economy early. *cough* However, here's to hoping we don't need Cypriot to deal with something small like this, assuming Madison has learned and will apply this to future cases.
