the first one was the best one
Looks interesting, i'll add it to my watch list!
I was going to watch it but the first season wasn't on Netflix for me ;c i'll probably watch it later though
thank you qwiby
i support you
I guess you'd even be into Isekai then.
I can recommend the entire Fate Series. It's about the so-called "holy grail war", an event where magicians summon heroes of the past to battle each other. The watch order might be a little confusing, but I watched it like this:
Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/stay night: Heavens Feel, and then the countless spinoffs. It has one of the best fighting animations I've ever seen.
If you really really want the fantasy setting, watch The Rising of the Shield Hero. A college student (?) gets yeeted into a parallel world where there are four cardinal heroes, each of them bearing one of the legendary weapons: Sword, Bow, Spear and the Shield. The main character is, you guessed it, the shield hero. At first glance life seems to be good for him, but things take a drastic turn after it is revealed that the shield hero is at a disadvantage.
I'm more of an SoL/romance (maybe even Sci-fi) guy, so I don't have that many of suggestions when it comes to fantasy. But here are some of the others you might've watched already:
Sword Art Online (especially the Alfheim arc)
No Game No Life
Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood too)
Kabanieri of the Iron Fortress (as @WiiTarded said)
Hope you find something you like ^^

It is sad, but it is absolutely brilliant.
It is made by Kyoto Animation, which suffered an arson attack a year ago which killed 39 people and injured an additional 31. It is considered one of the deadliest massacres in Japan since WWII.
The animation style of KyoAni is one of the most beautiful and most detailed I have seen in a long time. Here's a comparison from anime to reality:
And a couple more pictures because the anime is wonderful:
Sorry for the image spam but it's just too beautiful not to share.

I thought my hero was popular but the amount of people that don't have it on their list surprises me here, is it that boring to watch or you guys find it too easy to predict?
It's not on Netflix for me );
Just watched it, ended up crying at the end
neither is attack on titan season 3
watch it coward
You aren't the only one. Your Lie in April and A silent Voice made me cry. Though I have to say that Your Lie in April had a much larger impact than A silent Voice. However, the film is very good at controlling ones emotions.
I liked A Silent Voice way more than Your Lie in April, not sure why since Your Lie in April is usually the more popular one
Your Lie in April is an anime that really crawls into your feelings. I personally don't really like that, and I watched it because it was pretty mainstream then. I felt real despair and depression towards the end, and I can't say I enjoyed that. I cried in A Silent Voice because the ending is so beautiful, and not because it's so depressing.
this man has good taste!
Oh my God, I remember watching these as a kid and I gotta say Kiki's Delivery Service was definitely one of the cutest. Sadly I've grown out of them, but I agree with the fact that these are a must-watch.
I think Kiki's Delivery Service was the first anime I have ever watched. I was like 6 or 7 back then, lol.
And I also started watching The Tatami Galaxy
It is basically about a college dropout who dreams of a wonderful campus life but fails miserably.
I can recommend it to anyone who is very experienced watching anime, because it is really not easy to keep up. It is at least as complex as Bakemonogatari and also keeps a similar psychological level. Watch out, you have to be a super super super fast reader to be able to keep up (I am not even joking, when I started watching it my brain wasn't ready).
You'll probably like it if you...
...like psychological animes
...appreciate a special (and kind of weird) art style
...are tired of mainstream anime
I like psychological romances or comedies, and that's why enjoy The Tatami Galaxy. Anyway, as always, here are some screenshots/artworks to the anime:
I should demand money for my rewiews and recommendations
- 1 episode of naruto
- avatar the last airbender
- like 5 episodes of pokemon when i was younger
youre already a bigger weeb than me
